Kenya Bush Adventure

The group arrives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). Participants are met by a representative of African Diurnal Safaris transferred to your booked hotel in Nairobi.

After breakfast, you will depart from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park. Most famous for its stunning views of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the park offers photographers the rare opportunity to snap photos of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes against the startling backdrop of Africa’s most famous mountain.

You will have lunch at your lodge upon arrival before heading out for the late  afternoon game-drive.

Rise early to experience an unforgettable sunrise game drive in the park. Mount Kilimanjaro reveals its breathtaking beauty at dawn, and during this time, you may encounter predators like leopards, lions, and cheetahs as they hunt in the refreshing morning atmosphere.

Amboseli is aptly named the Royal Court of Kilimanjaro, and as you observe the majestic elephant herds alongside the stunning backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro, it becomes clear why this destination is cherished among Kenya’s national parks. Following your morning game drive and a leisurely breakfast, take some time to unwind at the lodge before embarking on another adventure in the afternoon. Since wildlife tends to be less active during the hot midday hours, this is an ideal opportunity to rest before venturing out again to observe the animals as they become more active in the cooler afternoon temperatures.

After an early breakfast, you will depart from Amboseli and embark on a day filled with adventure. As you travel through Nairobi en route to the Great Rift Valley, you will descend to the valley floor and reach Lake Naivasha just in time for lunch. Following a delightful meal by the scenic shores of Lake Naivasha, your journey will continue to the renowned Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can choose to explore the area by car or bicycle. For those seeking an extra thrill, rock climbing is also an option. Hell’s Gate is characterized by its geothermal activity, featuring distinctive rock formations and active geysers, making it an ideal location for photography as you wander. Be sure to take the opportunity to venture into Hell’s Gate Gorge for a picturesque hike.

You will leave Lake Naivasha after breakfast and embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will enjoy a half-day game drive. Following this, you will head south towards Kenya’s renowned Masai Mara. During your journey, you will traverse the iconic Great Rift Valley and pass through the Masai town of Narok. Upon your evening arrival at the park, you will proceed with an en-route game drive to your reserved accommodation.

Awaken at dawn to experience the breathtaking sunrise over the Masai Mara. As the sun ignites the savannah, you will have the opportunity to observe predators like leopards and lions as they engage in their hunting activities in the cool morning air. Following a leisurely breakfast, you can either unwind at your lodge until lunchtime before venturing into the park or opt for a picnic lunch and embark on a day of exploration. This adventure may include tracking the seasonal Wildebeest Migration or seeking out the renowned Big Five.

After enjoying breakfast, you will bid farewell to the Masai Mara and make your way back to Nairobi for your onward travels.
