Tanzania Luxury Big Five Safari

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our safari guide will greet you based on your flight schedule. You will then be transported to Arusha town, which is approximately a one-hour drive away.

Once you arrive at the lodge, you can relax and unwind as you prepare for the upcoming adventure of your Tanzania Luxury Big Five Safari.

Today, you will embark on a journey to Tarangire National Park, where you will enjoy a full day of game viewing accompanied by a picnic lunch. In the evening, you will be transfered to your booked accommodation in Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Situated just off the primary safari route, Tarangire National Park is a serene and picturesque destination in Northern Tanzania, renowned for its elephant migration, diverse birdlife, and genuine safari experience. Many visitors to the area either overlook Tarangire entirely or spend only a few hours within its boundaries, resulting in certain areas of the park remaining largely undisturbed.

After your breakfast at the lodge you will drive to central Serengeti/ Seronera via the Ngorongoro conservation area on transit with an optional stop at the Maasai Village for cultural interactions. Afterwards your drive will be heading to central Serengeti for the late afternoon game drive till evening,  you will be driven to the lodge for your dinner and an overnight stay.

Wakeup for breakfast; depart for a full-day game drives in central-Eastern Serengeti. The Serengeti harbors an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Apart from the migrating herds, you may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopards, cheetah, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

After an unforgettable day, you will return to your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Depart after your breakfast at the camp to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a full day crater tour game drive with picnic lunch. In the evening, you will drive to the rim of the crater at the lodge for the dinner and overnight stay.

The centerpiece of Ngorongoro is a vast volcanic crater, recognized as the largest intact and unflooded caldera globally. Spanning approximately 20 kilometers in diameter, with a depth of 600 meters and covering an area of 300 square kilometers, the Ngorongoro Crater is a stunning natural marvel. During your visit, you will explore Lake Magadi, a significant yet shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern part of the crater, which is renowned for attracting a diverse array of wildlife, including numerous flamingos, hippos, and various other waterfowl.

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive till afternoon, later you will be transfered to the lodge situated outside the park for the evening relaxation followed with dinner and an overnight stay.

Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.

Today marks the conclusion of your luxury Big Five safari in Tanzania. After you check out of your room, your driver will be waiting for you at the reception to transport you to either Arusha town or Kilimanjaro International Airport, signifying the end of your journey.
