Some people come to Tanzania for the Seven Natural Wonders, while others to enjoy the extraordinary cultural exchanges and adventures with the tribal communities in Maasai Land. However, the most important attraction to Tanzania is Mount Kilimanjaro with its three volcanic cones – Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira.

Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa and the world’s tallest free-standing mountain at 19,341ft high, is climbed by an estimated 30,000 people per year making it one of the most popular mountain expedition destinations. If an expedition to Mt. Kilimanjaro is the benchmark of your mountain climbing achievement, then African Diurnal Safaris and Tours has the personal support and guidance to offer you an unforgettable experience.

With more than 10 years of mountain expedition’s background, our philosophy is to help you safely summit Mt. Kilimanjaro with both fun and personal fulfillment. We have a foundation that is altogether designed for your individual security and accomplishment on your mountain expedition.

Mt. Kilimanjaro Climbing Highlights

African Diurnal Safaris and Tours concentrates on driving an increasingly close-to-home climbing group, focusing our assets on every person to guarantee the most secure, most charming, and best experience feasible for each of our climbers.

The Mt. Kilimanjaro climbing team usually consists of a maximum of 5 climbers per Tanzanian guide and will be supported by an average of two Sherpas per climber. Our low ratio of guides to climbers gives you a high level of support on the mountain.

  • Join a small and personal climbing team with a 5:1 highly trained guide ratio.
  • Enjoy the best Base Camp facilities available and enjoy unlimited access to Mt. Kilimanjaro’s Base Camp clinic.
  • Navigate the Arrow Glacier heavy screen ascend via crater to Uhuru Peak (the highest point in Africa) and descend through Barafu to Mweka camp with the support of experienced African Diurnal guides.
  • Take part in Diurnal Kilimanjaro expeditions and enjoy our high guiding standards.
