Best of Tanzania Southern Circuit Safari (Flying Safari)

Meet our safari guide at Julius Nyerere International Airport depending on your flight arrival time, you will be picked up and transferred to Dar es Salaam city centre.

Arrive at the lodge for leisure while getting prepared for the next day departure of your safari.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam in the morning and taken to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your flight to Nyerere National Park. Upon your arrival at Nyerere Park in the late morning, you will be collected from Beho Beho Airstrip and transfered to the camp for a hot lunch.

In the late afternoon, you have the option to enjoy either a boat ride or an evening game drive. Subsequently, you will be returned to your accommodation for a relaxing evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast in the morning go out for morning and afternoon game drive in Nyerere National Park, great animal sightings including all the great favourites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species like hunting wild dogs and also enjoy a great variety of bird species with wonderful scenery and varied topography: wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with long views of far-off mountains.

On evening you’ll be back at your accommodation for sunset, dinner and overnight stay.

You will depart in the morning after your breakfast and be transferred to Beho Beho Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Jongomero Airstrip, located within Ruaha National Park. Upon your arrival, a private safari guide and vehicle will be waiting to take you to your reserved accommodation.

During your three-night stay, you will engage in morning and afternoon game drives, nature walks, and a boat ride. Ruaha National Park, the second largest in Tanzania, spans approximately 22,000 km² and serves as the second-largest elephant sanctuary in the country. The park is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including greater and lesser kudus, cheetahs, lions, as well as roan and sable antelopes.

After breakfast in the morning, you will embark on game drives to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam/Julius Nyerere International Airport, where you will continue your journey.
