Bwindi Impenetrable Gorilla Trekking

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you’ll be met by an African Diurnal Safaris representative and be driven by private vehicle to your booked accommodation in Entebbe

Depart in the morning at 7:00am, our professional driver – guide will pick you from whichever location you deem convenient in Kampala. After a briefing on how your 3 days safari excursion will go, you’ll embark on a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, situated in South-western Uganda.
Arrive on evening at the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Note: Due to long hours driving from Kampala to Bwindi, there’s an option of schedule flight from Entebbe to Kihihi/ Kisoro with a short transfer to the Lodge, available at an extra cost

After an early morning breakfast, walk to the park headquarters for briefing and thereafter you’ll proceed to the gorilla trail. Gorilla tracking normally lasts between 2 to 8 hours or even a day to encounter the gorillas. However, you’ll be allowed to stay in the presence of these awesome apes for at least an hour. It is advisable that you carry packed lunch as one cannot determine how long it may take to encounter the mountain gorillas. If time and energy allow you may take a community walk after the gorilla tracking or just relax at your accommodation, most likely enjoying the sounds and sights of the area. Return to your accommodation (if you took a walk in the community), enjoy your evening, dinner and overnight

Early in the morning after your breakfast, you’ll travel back to Kampala. On the way back to the city, you’ll have lunch in Mbarara town and after passing Masaka town, there will be an opportunity to stop at the Equator for photos. Arrive in Kampala on evening for catching night flight or dropped off at your own booked accommodation in Kampala, this will be the end of your safari.
