Great Migration Calving Season

Meet our safari guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport depending on your flight arrival time, you’ll be picked up and transferred about 1hr drive to Arusha town.

Arrive at the lodge for leisure while getting prepared for the next day departure for your 8-days great migration carving season.

On early morning you’ll be picked up at the hotel and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation at Ndutu region but you’ll pass to the Ngorongoro crater floor for the game drive before heading to Ndutu.

Arrive at Ndutu on evening at the lodge/ camp for an evening leisure followed with dinner and overnight stay.

Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement $550 per adult). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of the Serengeti. Do an after-breakfast game viewing drive around the Lake Ndutu or Serengeti South till afternoon then drive back to the lodge for hot lunch and spend your evening at the lodge followed with nice sunset, dinner and overnight stay.

Depart after breakfast for a half day game viewing till lunch time, then back to the lodge for hot lunch and on evening proceed with the game viewing. Observe the calving season in this south part of the Ngorongoro and Serengeti, watch as the newborns come to life. The Ndutu area is home to the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. Enjoy guided game drives through the park, with the optional Ndutu Marsh walks, sundowners and more. Arrive on evening at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today you depart in the morning with en route game drive in eastern Serengeti till lunch time; afterwards you’ll be transferred to Karatu at the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

On this last day of the safari you’ll be visiting Tarangire National Park, early morning drives about 1hr from Karatu Tarangire National Park and by 09:30am you’ll already in the park.

In this park you have the chance to see lots of wild Tanzanian animals (lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, etc.), but above all else it is famous for its astonishing number of elephants, who typically tend to stay close to their drinking source, the Tarangire River.

At lunch time you’ll be provided a meal, after which the safari will continue. In the late afternoon you’ll be transferred to the hotel in Arusha to mark up the end of this trip. You’ll be dropped off at your own booked accommodation in Arusha town or transferred to Kilimanjaro international Airport for your onward travels.
