Great Migration Calving Season (Dec – Mar)

Meet our safari guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport depending on your flight arrival time, you will be picked up and transferred about 1hr drive to Arusha town.

Arrive at the lodge for leisure while getting prepared for the next day departure for your 7-days great migration carving season.

You will be collected from your hotel in the early morning and transported to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, specifically the Ndutu region. During this journey, you will have the opportunity to explore the Ngorongoro crater floor for a game drive before continuing on to Ndutu.

Upon your arrival at the Ndutu camp in the evening, you can enjoy some leisure time followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement $550 per adult). Floating silently above the awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of the Ndutu Region with Migration.

Do an after-breakfast game viewing drive around the Lake Ndutu till afternoon then drive back to the camp for hot lunch and spend your evening at the lodge followed with nice sunset, dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, embark on a half-day game viewing excursion until lunchtime, followed by a return to the lodge for a hot meal. In the evening, continue your game viewing experience, particularly during the calving season in the southern regions of Ngorongoro and Serengeti, where you can witness the miraculous moments of newborn animals taking their first steps.

The Ndutu area boasts one of the most remarkable wildlife events on the planet—the great migration of wildebeest and zebra. Take pleasure in guided game drives throughout the park, with the option to enjoy walks in Ndutu Marsh, sundowners, and additional activities. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After enjoying breakfast at the lodge in the morning, you will set off on a drive from Ndutu to central Serengeti, which will include a game drive along the way. Upon arrival at the camp in central Serengeti, you can unwind with a leisurely dinner before settling in for the night.

On the final day of your safari, you will leave the camp and embark on a game drive through the Serengeti, passing through Ngorongoro as you make your way to Arusha town. Upon your arrival, our guide will assist you in reaching your pre-arranged accommodation in Arusha or will take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your subsequent journey.
