Great Migration Mara River

Meet our safari guide at Kilimanjaro International Airport depending on your flight arrival time, you’ll be picked up and transferred about 1hr drive to Arusha town.

Arrive at the lodge for leisure while getting prepared for the next day departure for your safari.

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha town in the morning and make your way to the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at the park entrance gate around 10am; you’ll enter in the park for the game drive in the park till early evening.

Explore the beautiful park, dominated by the huge soda lake that sits at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is home to a huge elephant population, the famous tree-climbing lions and thousands of flamingos, all of which you’ll be able to see before making your way back to your lodge for some dinner and overnight stay.

Today you’ll be picked up from your hotel in the morning at 7:00, and from there you drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro is one of the most famous and interesting of Tanzania’s Conservation Area because here you can find the greatest number of different animal species per square kilometer. You’ll have the chance to see buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, hippopotamus and feline species such as caracals and servals. The luckiest travelers might even see a rhinoceros, an animal whose numbers are rapidly declining.

By lunch time you’ll arrive at the picnic site, where you’ll be offered lunch boxes, after which the safari will continue, ending in a few hours with a transfer to Serengeti National Park at your booked accommodation.

Today you’ll have a full day in the Serengeti, allowing you to explore the vast grassland plains that stretch beyond the horizon, Serengeti is home to millions of wildebeests during the migration and over the huge flat plains you are likely to find lions, cheetah, leopards, hyena,s and many other small predators. Enjoy an en-route game drive from central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti; Mara River where you’ll arrive at your camp/lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

The next 2days are spent for morning and afternoon game drive in Mara River. Have the most amazing trip of your life where you’ll experience the wildebeest migration first hand, your driver-guide will takes you to the active spot where the wildebeest migration crossing  the Mara River in Serengeti National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya, from July to October.

On late afternoon after enough game drive and picnic lunch, drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Today you set out for a half day game drive in Mara River for the great migration game drive, later you’ll be transferred to your booked accommodation in Klein’s Area – Northern Serengeti, arrival at the camp on evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Depart after breakfast and set for the scenic route drive from Klein’s to Lake Natron

Lake Natron is a surreal destination and unique natural spectacle. Its waters are highly alkaline and unusually shallow, averaging just one meter in depth. After checking into your lodge/camp and a short break, you’ll put your walking shoes on as a Masai tribesman takes you to visit Ngare Sero Waterfalls, which flow down from the Nguruman Escarpment west of Lake Natron.

Another activities in this area you’ll do a walk around the shores of Lake Natron on the lookout for birds, especially the lesser flamingos. Lake Natron is the most important and regular breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa hosting up to 2 million of them during the breeding season. The majority of egg-laying and hatching takes place from September to January.

Today you’ll set out for a transfer from Lake Natron to Arusha town.

You’ll arrive in Arusha on afternoon for drop off at your own booked accommodation to markup the end of your trip. Or transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your late evening flight.
