Kenya Bush Adventure

The group arrives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO). Participants are met by a
representative of African Diurnal Safaris transferred to your own booked hotel in Nairobi.

After breakfast, we’ll depart from Nairobi for Amboseli National Park. Most famous for its
stunning views of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, the park offers photographers the
rare opportunity to snap photos of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes against the startling
backdrop of Africa’s most famous mountain.
You’ll have lunch at your lodge upon arrival before heading out into the park for an afternoon
game-drive.

Wake before the dawn for an unforgettable sunrise game drive within the park. Kilimanjaro
never looks quite as beautiful as she does first thing in the morning, and you’ll also get to see
predators such as leopards, lions, and cheetahs out on the prowl in the cooler morning air.
They don’t call Amboseli the Royal Court of Kilimanjaro for nothing, and as you take in its large
elephant herds and the stunning panorama of Mt. Kilimanjaro, you’ll see why this is one of
Kenya’s most beloved pars.
After your morning game drive and a late breakfast, relax at the lodge for a few hours before
heading out into the park again in the afternoon. With the animals largely inactive during the
warm midday hours, you can get some rest before catching them out and about in the cooling
afternoon air.

Departing from Amboseli after an early breakfast, you’ll get on the road for your day of
adventure. Passing through Nairobi on your way to the Great Rift Valley, you’ll descend to the
valley floor and arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for lunch.
After enjoying lunch on the shores of this beautiful lake, you’ll proceed to the famous Hell’s Gate
National Park where you’ll be free to explore it by car or on a bike. Feeling extra adventurous?
You can even try your hand at rock climbing.
Hell’s Gate is a geothermically active park made up of unique rock formations and active
geysers, and is a great place to snap photos as you explore. Don’t miss your chance to descend
into Hell’s Gate Gorge for a beautiful hike.

You’ll depart from Lake Naivasha after breakfast for the drive south to Kenya’s most famous
park, the Masai Mara.
You’ll pass through the famous Great Rift Valley on your way as well as passing through the
Masai town of Narok. Arriving in the park in time for lunch at your lodge, you’ll then head out
into the park for an afternoon game drive in search of lazy lions, tree-climbing leopards, majestic
elephants, and more.

Wake with the dawn to witness a sunrise out on the Masai Mara. As the sun sets fire to the
savannah, you’ll have the chance to watch predators such as leopards and lions out on the hunt
while the air is still cool.
After a late breakfast, you’ll have the choice to either relax at your lodge until lunch and then
head out into the park or take a picnic lunch and head out into the park for a day of discovery as
you track the movements of the Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) or go in search of the Big Five.

You’ll bid farewell to the Masai Mara after breakfast and return to Nairobi for your onward
travel.
