Magical Kenya & Tanzania Safari

You will be greeted at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) and escorted by our guide to your reserved lodging in Nairobi. There, you will enjoy dinner and have the opportunity to relax and recover from your travels.

Today, our guide will meet you at your hotel in Nairobi at 7:00 AM for your transfer to Amboseli National Park. Upon arrival, you will check in at your reserved safari lodge, where you will be staying for two nights. After enjoying lunch and some time to relax, you will embark on an evening game drive. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its large herds of elephants and is particularly famous for its majestic bull elephants with their impressive tusks. The park is also home to a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, rhinos, and numerous bird species. Following this wonderful experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After your breakfast in the early morning, you will bid farewell to Amboseli and begin your journey towards Lake Nakuru National Park, passing through Nairobi. During this drive, there will be a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, allowing for some photography before you proceed to Nakuru. Upon arrival at our reserved lodge, you will have time for lunch and relaxation after checking in.

Later in the evening, you will venture into Lake Nakuru National Park for game drives. This park is home to an alkaline lake that attracts vast numbers of both greater and lesser flamingos, creating a stunning avian display. In total, over 400 bird species have been documented in the area. Additionally, Nakuru has been designated as a sanctuary for black rhinos, ensuring opportunities to observe both black and white rhinos in their natural habitat.

After your breakfast in the early morning, you bid farewell to Lake Nakuru and set off on a journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve. As you travel, take in the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley, which will lead you to your reserved lodge for a two-night stay. You will arrive just in time for lunch and some relaxation at the camp. In the evening, prepare for an exciting game drive.

The Masai Mara is renowned as Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve, often regarded as the finest in the country. The park features expansive grasslands, dotted with rocky hills, acacia woodlands, and riparian forests. It offers a rich experience for wildlife enthusiasts, showcasing not only formidable predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs but also other fascinating species such as spotted hyenas, bat-eared foxes, and black-backed jackals. Additionally, elephants and buffalo are frequently spotted, and a population of black rhinos continues to thrive within the reserve.

On this day, you will say goodbye to the Masai Mara and Kenya as you embark on a game drive en route to Isibania, the border crossing point between Kenya and Tanzania. Please be aware that there will be a change of vehicle and guide; however, this transition is smooth and should not cause you any concern. Once the immigration procedures are completed, with our guide managing all required documentation, you will be introduced to your new Tanzanian guide/driver. You will then proceed to the central Serengeti for an evening of game viewing before settling in at your reserved camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today is reserved for an entire day of game drives in the Serengeti. You will enjoy unlimited game drives in the Central Serengeti, specifically in the Seronera Area, which boasts the highest concentrations of wildlife in the region. This area is particularly renowned for opportunities to observe predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with a variety of other wildlife species. Following an extraordinary day of exploration, you will return to your chosen accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin your journey from your camp with a game drive en route from the Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for a day of exploration.

This area is home to approximately 20,000 mammals, including around 20 black rhinoceroses, making it the premier location in Tanzania to observe these remarkable animals. The crater floor boasts one of the highest densities of carnivores globally, with lions, hyenas, and jackals frequently spotted. With a bit of luck, you may also encounter leopards, servals, and bat-eared foxes. In the evening, ascend from the crater and proceed to Karatu for a relaxing evening, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast in your hotel depart with your picnic lunches -drive to Tarangire National Park.

Embark on a full-day game drive through this magnificent park during the dry season, a time when numerous migratory wildlife species return to the permanent waters of the Tarangire River. Here, you will witness a remarkable gathering of African elephants, along with herds of wildebeest, zebras, elands, and oryx, all congregating in Tarangire.

In the evening, you will return to your booked accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Today marks your final breakfast at the camp before you prepare to leave and embark on a game drive, allowing you to savor your last views of the local wildlife. Following this, you will exit Tarangire National Park and make your way directly to Arusha town, where you will either check into your pre-arranged accommodation or be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your 11-day Magical Kenya and Tanzania Safari.
