Masai Mara & Serengeti Great Migration Sky Safari (Jul – Oct)

Our driver and guide will collect you and take you to your hotel in Nairobi for an overnight stay. If you arrive late, we will arrange accommodations for you at one of the nearby airport hotels, which offer both convenience and comfort.

Your adventure commences with a brief flight from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to Ol Kiombo Airstrip, located within the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you will enjoy a three-night stay at the Royal Zebra River Safari Lodge.

Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes, rich traditions, and lively culture of Kenya’s Masai Mara through a variety of activities designed to elevate your spirit. Engage in game viewing safaris to encounter the “Big Five”—elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and rhino—experience breathtaking hot air balloon rides soaring over the African savannah, and seize numerous opportunities to delve into the local culture while savoring the warm hospitality of the Masai people. These remarkable experiences will leave a lasting impression long after your journey concludes.

You will be picked up from your lodge in Masai Mara and transfered to Ol Kiombo airstrip for your flight to Kogatende Airstrip in northern Serengeti National Park. During the journey, there will be stops at Migori Airstrip and Sirari border posts for passport control before proceeding to the Serengeti.

Upon your arrival at Kogatende airstrip, you will be greeted and taken to your next destination, Aurari Camp.

Aurari Camp is ideally situated near the Mara River, where the wildebeest herds embark on their annual migration in search of greener pastures from July to October. The dramatic river crossings present a vivid display of survival, as hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles plunge into the river, often facing the lurking Nile crocodiles ready to strike.

At the conclusion of your three-night stay at Aurari Camp, you will take a flight from Kogatende Airstrip to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.

After breakfast in the morning you will be transferred to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Arusha town or Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your international flight back home.
