Meet our safari guide at Julius Nyerere International Airport depending on your flight arrival time, you will be picked up and transferred to Dar es Salaam city centre. Arrive at the lodge for leisure while getting prepared for the next day departure of your safari.
Meals
You will be introduced to your driver-guide at your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 8:00 AM. Following this, you will embark on a journey to Mikumi National Park, which will take approximately 5 to 6 hours, with an expected arrival time around 3:00 PM. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to observe wildlife en route to your accommodation. After a brief rest in the evening, you will take a walk to a nearby Maasai village for a cultural experience. You will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Meals
Today is reserved for an extensive game drive in Mikumi National Park, where you will set off with packed lunches stored in your vehicle.
During your safari, you will have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of bird species, along with significant populations of giraffes, buffalo, and elephants. With a bit of luck, you might also catch a glimpse of lions and leopards. Additionally, you can expect to see other wildlife such as zebras, hippos, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, elands, and various types of antelopes.
In the evening, you will return to the camp to relax, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.
